Processing: You can print your own images or have them commercially printed. There are some good companies in the UK who will print for you at a reasonable cost. Watch out for the postal charges, you may wish to send a few images at once to save costs.

Print photographs entered for club competitions must be mounted on board no bigger than 50x40cms. Smaller boards are acceptable and will not affect the score your photograph receives.
Photographs Member No., photograph title, and optional orientation arrow should be on the rear of the mount.

Mounting: There are many options for mounting your photographs.
Window mounting can enhance the presentation of your image. There is a wealth of experience in the club with mounting, just ask!
However you mount your photographs please do so in a way that minimises the chances of damage to your work or that of others in transit or storage.
Sellotape, masking tape or excess glue left on mounts are actively discouraged.

Ray Cooper specific recommendations and offer to help
The Laboratory used is DS Colour Labs. https://dscolourlabs.co.uk Images are printed on Fuji paper with a Lustre finish.
The sizes are listed on the website and the two major ones which Ray uses are: 15 x 10 inches for a 20 x 16 inch mount and 10 x 7 inches for a 14 x 11 inch mount.
Currently the 15 x 10 inch print costs £1.38 and the 10 x 7 inch print £0.67p.
Postage costs are £4.90 for one print. It would be best to order a number of prints at one time to reduce postage costs.
Ray has his mounts cut at Britannia Picture Framing at Brunswick Industrial Estate, Brunswick Village, Newcastle upon Tyne. NE13 7BA. Phone 0191 2367949.
A mount and backing sheet to fit the maximum size for our club entries costs approximately £2.40 but this may need to be checked for any change. The quality is excellent and Ray has been using them for over 15 years.
As mentioned before, Ray can collate member’s requirements and have Britannia supply the club with mounts to whatever size people want.
